Omar Siddiqui

Omar Siddiqui is an experienced Security Technical Specialist currently at BT since August 2022, focusing on migration projects within the Rackspace NetSec Team, with expertise in tools and technologies such as Panorama, Palo Alto, and F5 BIG IP. Prior experience includes roles as a Security Engineer at Freshfields Bruckhaus Deringer, where responsibilities encompassed firewall support and configuration, and as a Senior Network Engineer at bet365, managing a multi-vendor security infrastructure. Omar has also held positions in various companies such as Interactive Investor, Dimension Data, Vodafone, Level 3 Communications, Pipex Communications, and HP UK, where skills in network engineering and management were developed. Omar holds a BSc in Computer Studies from The University of Huddersfield and completed education at Just IT and Crossley Heath.
