Dan Whaley

Dan Whaley is an accomplished entrepreneur and leader in the fields of technology and environmental sustainability, currently serving as Founder, Executive Chairman, and President of Anno since March 2019, where efforts focus on scaling the Hypothesis service and technology. Whaley has also been the Founder, Executive Chairman, and President of Hypothesis since February 2011, developing an open-source platform that enhances access and collaboration regarding global knowledge. Additional roles include Executive Chairman at BTP Automation, Co-founder and Board Member of Invest in Open Infrastructure, and Founding Board Member of Getaround, among other ventures. Dan Whaley's innovative career began with the founding of GetThere, Inc. in 1994, which pioneered the online travel industry. With a BA in English and Photography from the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign, Whaley has made significant contributions to open-source development and environmental solutions.
