Dirk Hartung

Dirk Hartung is a Co-Founder of Dskrpt, a company focused on digitalizing learning through an AI-based tutoring system for text-based subjects, with a tenure beginning in March 2023. Hartung serves as the Executive Director of the Center for Legal Technology and Data Science and as Executive Director of Legal Technology at Bucerius Law School since January 2015, also holding the role of Chief of Staff. Additionally, Hartung is a Non-Residential Fellow at CodeX, The Stanford Center for Legal Informatics, where involvement includes a Legal Complexity Science Research Project since September 2020. Previous experience includes the position of Legal and Executive Assistant at IRION | Kanzlei für Medienrecht from October 2010 to March 2015, specializing in Privacy, Data, Press, and IP Law. Hartung earned a Staatsexamen and a Bachelor of Laws (LL.B.) from Bucerius Law School, alongside an exchange program at Singapore Management University in 2011.
