Maria Loewen

Undergraduate Research Assistant (bvr A.d. Prof. Dr. Dr. H.c. Wolfgang Hoffmann-riem, Ll.m.) at Bucerius Law School

Maria Loewen is an undergraduate law student at Bucerius Law School, expected to complete the Erste Juristische Prüfung with a Bachelor of Laws (LL.B.) by 2025. Currently serving as an Undergraduate Research Assistant under Professor Wolfgang Hoffmann-Riem, Maria has gained practical experience through various internships and roles, including participation in the Bucerius and ICC Mediation Competitions. Previous internships include positions at the Bundesministerium der Finanzen focusing on combating money laundering, and at Noerr and Freshfields Bruckhaus Deringer in corporate law and dispute resolution. Maria has also broadened their education with a stint as a visiting law student at Singapore Management University and completed a preparation semester at the EF Executive Language Institute.
