Mathew Jobin Chittazhathu

Mathew Jobin Chittazhathu has a diverse work experience in various industries. In 2006, they worked at Swiss Life AG, where they started as a Business Management Trainee and later became a Customer Advisor in Pensionservice. From 2011 to 2013, they worked as a Broker Underwriter Corporate Business at Baloise Group. Then, from 2013 to 2016, they served as a Project Leader for Products and Services in Corporate Business at Sanitas Krankenversicherung.

In 2017, Mathew joined Helvetia Versicherungen as a Senior Manager of Innovation in Business Innovation and Corporate Development. Mathew Jobin worked there until 2020. In 2018, they co-founded Adresta and held the position of CEO. During the same period, they also worked as a Guest Lecturer on topics related to start-ups, innovation, and Distributed Ledger Technology at different universities, including FNHW, ZHAW, HWZ, HSG, and FH Luzern.

Mathew also served as a Member of the Advisory Board for The St.Gallen Blockchain Roundtable from 2019 onwards. Currently, they hold the position of Global Director of Corporate Development at Bucherer AG, starting from 2023.

Mathew Jobin Chittazhathu attended ZHdK Zürcher Hochschule der Künste in 2019, where they pursued a CAS - Design Technologies degree. Prior to that, from 2014 to 2016, Mathew studied at Fernfachhochschule Schweiz and achieved a Master of Science (M.Sc.) in Innovation Management. Mathew Jobin completed their undergraduate studies at ZHAW School of Management and Law from 2009 to 2013 and earned a Bachelor of Science (B.Sc.) degree in Risk & Insurance.
