Director of Foster Care at The Buckeye Ranch

Amy is the Director of Foster Care at The Buckeye Ranch where she has worked for over 13 years. As a professional clinical counselor and supervisor, she also works in private practice in the Columbus area. Amy’s experience has largely been working within family systems. She specializes in adolescent and family counseling, parent coaching, and trauma-informed approaches to child welfare systems. She did a 2-year post-graduate fellowship at The Ohio State University, where she also received her master’s in Clinical Counseling; Amy received her bachelor’s from Purdue University. Amy has guest lectured at Purdue, OSU, and Texas A&M; and presented at a local, state, and national level on issues such as: family relationships, LGBTQ+ culture, developmental stages, relationship management, trauma-informed care strategies for children, adolescents, and families.
