Joycelyn Jones

Joycelyn Jones is an accomplished professional in alumni relations and engagement with extensive experience in strategic planning, program implementation, and fundraising. Currently serving as the Director of Alumni Relations and Engagement at The Buckley School since April 2017, Joycelyn spearheads daily operations for the school's alumni program. Prior to this role, Joycelyn led diversity programs and service partnerships at the University of Maryland Alumni Association from August 2013 to April 2017, overseeing numerous alumni programs and creating effective donor pipelines. Joycelyn also contributed significantly to the Robert H. Smith School of Business at the University of Maryland from July 2007 to July 2013, where efforts supported a successful fundraising campaign generating over $100 million. Earlier experience includes working as a Marketing Consultant at The Roan Group, where a pivotal Arts Impact Study was authored. Joycelyn holds a Master of Arts in Art History from Howard University, a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Theatre Arts Management from Wright State University, and a Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion Certificate from Cornell University.
