Diego Simões Silva, MPA has an extensive work experience in various organizations and roles. Diego Simões started their career in 2007 as a Youth Minister at the First Brazilian Baptist Church of Austin and later served as a Youth & College Intern at Trinity Baptist Church of San Antonio.

In 2010, Diego became an Area Manager at China Garden Chinese Restaurants, where they were responsible for overseeing the day-to-day operations of two restaurants. Diego Simões ensured customer service, managed food safety, trained employees, and implemented marketing strategies.

Diego then transitioned to the role of Youth Minister at the First Baptist Church of Pettus in 2011. Diego Simões oversaw the implementation of a ministry program for at-risk youths and provided leadership for the church's outreach program.

In 2012, Diego served as the Interim Director at the Baptist Student Ministry, where they facilitated the organization's activities and programs.

Later, as the Domestic Missions Team Lead, Diego supported mission operations, provided humanitarian aid, and assisted in leadership and development initiatives. More recently, they served as the Director of the Family Hope Center, overseeing programmatic services and establishing relationships with service providers, donors, and volunteers. Currently, Diego is the Director of Strategic Projects at Buckner International, where they focus on extending the company's reach and revenue growth through stakeholder relationships and funding opportunities.
