Our client is an Australian luxury fashion brand with a global presence. They create clothes that are feminine, luxurious, and embrace the nonchalant ease inherent to its founder’s coastal lifestyle. Initially, since launching with a highly curated collection of silk-cashmere scarves, they quickly pivoted their design perspective towards women’s ready-to-wear; designing with the beach or a tropical resort in mind.

About the Role

As an E-Commerce Marketing Specialist & Graphic Designer, you will be responsible for managing our client’s online store on Shopify, ensuring high-quality product uploads, handling email marketing campaigns, and overseeing their social media presence. Key Responsibilities

New Product Uploads

  • Upload new products to our Shopify website with detailed descriptions, ensuring SEO optimization.
  • Maintain high-quality product images and accurate product information.
  • Manage tagging, meta titles, descriptions, and product collections.
  • Regularly update customer-tagged images and videos on the website.
  • Coordinate with the design team to ensure consistency in product listings.
  • Monitor and update inventory levels accurately.

Document and Record Keeping

  • Accurately record all customer order numbers on our internal systems and update timeline notes as required.
  • Assist with basic administrative tasks, including data entry, filing, and organising documents.
  • Maintain cleanliness and organisation in the office and kitchen facilities, restocking supplies as needed.
  • Ensure cleanliness at the Showroom by hanging dresses and assisting the Stylists as required.
  • Keep customers informed of shipping updates or delays by utilising basic order tracking procedures via Google Sheets and other applications.

Email Marketing (EDM)

  • Design and manage weekly email campaigns using Klaviyo.

  • Transform vendor-provided images into newsletters and banners that align with our brand voice.

  • Monitor email performance and sales, providing insights and recommendations for optimization.

  • Support the launch of new brands across digital channels.

  • Create high-quality newsletters using Canva or Photoshop.

Social Media Marketing & Community Management

  • Create and schedule engaging posts tailored for Instagram, TikTok, and Pinterest.
  • Ensure all content aligns with the brand voice and maintains a consistent message.
  • Utilise online software and tools to schedule content ahead of time.
  • Develop visually appealing and creative content, including photos, videos, stories, reels, and pins.
  • Leverage platform-specific features and trends to increase audience engagement.
  • Monitor engagement metrics and respond to inquiries promptly.
  • Track and analyse performance metrics to inform future content strategies.
  • Collaborate with the design and marketing teams to ensure cohesive branding.

Process and Procedure Development

  • Ensure brand voice consistency across all social media platforms.
  • Develop guidelines and style standards for communication.
  • Conduct regular audits of social media content and implement approval processes.
  • Establish procedures for regular reviews and updates of social media content.
  • Develop a content calendar to plan and organise future posts.
  • Monitor industry trends and competitor activities to refine content strategy.

Loyalty Program Management:

  • Manage our established Loyalty Program, overseeing redemption and usage metrics.

  • Analyse customer behaviour to identify opportunities for enhancing the program's customer-centric approach, ultimately driving genuine retention.

Performance Tracking and Analysis:

  • Set, track, and measure KPIs for all marketing activities, providing detailed performance reports.

  • Utilise data-driven insights to optimise strategies, amplifying successful approaches and swiftly adapting or discontinuing ineffective ones to drive continuous improvement

Other Responsibilities

  • Make necessary process suggestions and improvements which can help the team.

  • Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.

  • Perform other related tasks and duties that may be assigned by the client later on.

About You

  • 5+ years experience with eCommerce Marketing, with strong proficiency in eCommerce and Social Media Platforms including Shopify and Klaviyo.
  • Hands-on experience with Shopify for product upload, updates and website management.
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in Graphic Design and high proficiency with Canva and Adobe Photoshop.
  • Understanding of Social Media platforms and trends (Instagram,  Facebook, TikTok and Pinterest).
  • Experience with Cin7 and Searchspring would be a plus
  • Experience in the fashion industry would be highly regarded
  • Excellent communication skills and the ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
  • Knowledge of SEO principles for product uploads.
  • Strong organisational skills to manage multiple tasks effectively.
  • A proactive attitude and willingness to learn and adapt quickly.
  • Attention to detail to maintain brand consistency and quality standards.
  • Passion for fashion and e-commerce, demonstrated through a proactive attitude and dedication to the brand's success.
