Richard Harland

Richard Harland has a diverse work experience in the healthcare industry. Richard started their career as a Medical Sales Representative at Ashfield Healthcare from 2003 to 2004. Richard then worked as a Sales Representative at Sanofi in 2005. From 2006 to 2012, they served as an Account Specialist at Roche Diagnostics, responsible for driving sales of Point of Care monitors.

In 2012, Richard became a Sales Manager at InHealthcare, a company that provides clinical monitoring of patients in their own homes. Richard worked there until 2013. Richard then joined ToHealth Ltd as a Business Development Manager from 2013 to 2015, where they aimed to empower individuals to improve their health and wellbeing through technology solutions.

Richard returned to Ingenica Solutions in 2015 as a Business Development Executive and contributed to transforming the NHS procurement landscape. Richard stayed with the company until 2020. In 2020, they joined Gendius Ltd as an NHS Partnership Director, focusing on mHealth and developing a diabetes pathway improvement system using AI technologies.

Following their role at Gendius Ltd, Richard returned to Ingenica Solutions in 2021 as an NHS Sales UK, delivering IT solutions in procurement and supply chain management. Currently, Richard holds the position of Sales Manager UK at Buddy Healthcare, where they manage and drives effective sales of the Buddy Healthcare platform in the UK market.

Richard Harland attended Kings Manor School from 1987 to 1993. Richard then went on to Teesside Tertiary College, where they studied Sports Studies and earned a BTEC National Diploma from 1993 to 2002. Additionally, Richard Harland pursued higher education at the University of Sunderland from 1996 to 2002, where they obtained a Bachelor of Science (B.Sc.) degree in Sports Science.
