Therese Stoveland-Alfsen

Therese Stoveland-Alfsen has extensive experience in project management and advisory roles, currently serving as Prosjektleder/Seniorrådgiver at Bufdir since February 2021. Prior to this, Therese worked as Prosjektutvikler at Fundatum from January 2020 to February 2021, and as Seniorrådgiver at Barne-, ungdoms- og familieetaten in the eastern region from February 2016 to February 2019. Additional experience includes being Generalsekretær/National Director at Youth For Understanding Norge from December 2013 to February 2016 and holding a Seniorrådgiver position at Bufdir from August 2010 to August 2013, where Therese was responsible for project and process management within the Bufetat Quality Development Program. Earlier roles include Project Coordinator at Forum for samtidshistorie at the University of Oslo and Advisor at APELAND. Therese Stoveland-Alfsen holds a Master of Arts in History from the University of Oslo and was awarded a Brittingham Viking Scholarship during a one-year exchange at the University of Wisconsin-Madison, focusing on History and International Affairs.
