Aaron Ramella

Head Groundskeeper & Director, Grounds at Buffalo Bills

Aaron Ramella has been working in the groundskeeping industry for over 20 years. Aaron started their career as a head groundskeeper for the Washington Wild Things in 2002. In 2003, they were hired by the Pittsburgh Steelers as an assistant sports turf manager. Aaron remained with the Steelers for 12 years before taking their current position as head groundskeeper and director of grounds for the Buffalo Bills in 2015. Ramella is considered one of the best in their field and has won numerous awards for their work, including the prestigious National Sports Turf Managers Association Groundskeeper of the Year award in 2010.

Aaron Ramella is a graduate of Penn State University, where they earned their BS in Turfgrass Science and their BS in Landscape Contracting.

Aaron Ramella reports to John Polka, Executive Director, Stadium Operations. They work with Kadin Austin - Cleaning & General Maintenance Associate, Joseph Selapack - HVAC & Plumbing Associate, and Debbie Haley - Cleaning, Clubs & Suites Coordinator.
