Melanie Gee

Melanie Gee has over 13 years of experience in the field of recruiting and talent acquisition. Melanie currently holds the position of Executive Director of Recruiting and Talent Development at Buffalo Rock Company since October 2022. Prior to this, they worked as a Talent Acquisition Manager at White Cap from March 2021 to October 2022.

Before joining White Cap, Melanie worked at Pace Runners, Inc. as a Recruiting Business Partner from January 2020 to March 2021. Melanie also served as a Talent Acquisition Specialist at Pace Runners, Inc. from 2018 to January 2020.

Melanie'sprevious experience includes working as a Senior Recruiter at Advance Local in 2017, Recruiting Director at MassMutual in 2016-2017, and Recruiting Director at AIG from 2014 to 2016. Melanie also worked as a Recruiting and Marketing Director at MassMutual in 2013 and as a Senior Staffing Consultant at Vaco in the same year.

Before entering the recruiting field, Melanie worked as an Account Manager at Sprint Nextel from 2011 to 2013 and as an Account Manager at Enterprise Fleet Management from 2009 to 2011.

Melanie Gee obtained a Bachelor of Arts degree in International Trade and French from Auburn University, where they studied from 1996 to 2000. In 1999, they attended Universite Americaine a Paris for French Literature studies. Melanie also studied French Language and Literature at Universite de l'Ouest in 1998. In terms of secondary education, Melanie attended Highlands School from 1982 to 1989.

In addition to their academic achievements, Melanie has obtained multiple certifications. In 2017, they received the Alabama Life and Health Insurance certification from the ALABAMA DEPARTMENT OF INSURANCE. Melanie also holds an Alabama Realtors License, acquired from the Alabama Real Estate Commission in 2006.
