Kenya Hobbs serves as the Chief Operations Officer at Buffalo Urban League since November 2024, previously holding roles such as ACCE National Fellow at the Association of Chamber of Commerce Executives and Director of Community Engagement and Equity Initiatives at Buffalo Niagara Partnership. An experienced educator, Kenya taught a course on leading diversity in organizations at Medaille University while also fulfilling the roles of Interim Vice President for Student Development and Vice President for Diversity, Equity & Inclusion. Prior experience includes positions at M&T Bank, the City of Buffalo, and Delaware Department of Labor, emphasizing workforce development, community engagement, and compliance training. Kenya holds a Master of Arts in Organizational Leadership from Medaille University and a Bachelor of Arts in English from the University at Buffalo.
