Kimisha Houston, MS, MFT has worked in various roles throughout their career. Kimisha began their journey as an Assistant Program Coordinator at Buffalo Urban League in October 2017 and held this position until November 2020. From November 2020 to July 2021, they worked as an Operations Coordinator at Crowley Webb. Following this, they served as an Executive Administrator at Circuit Clinical from August 2021 to June 2022. Currently, they hold the position of Director of Communications & Special Projects at Buffalo Urban League, starting in June 2022.
Kimisha Houston, MS, MFT completed their Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from Buffalo State University between 2002 and 2007. Following this, they pursued a Master of Science in Marriage and Family Therapy/Counseling from the University of Rochester School of Medicine and Dentistry, graduating in 2013.

Health and Quality of Life Empowerment promotes community wellness through a focus on prevention, including fitness, healthy eating and access to affordable healthcare. Civic Engagement and Leadership Empowerment encourages all people to take an active role to improve quality of life through participation in community service projects and public policy initiatives. Civil Rights and Racial Justice Empowerment guarantees equal participation in all facets of American society through proactive public policies and community-based programs.
