Ambassador Animal Care Specialist at The Buffalo Zoo

Linsey Orlovsky is an experienced animal care professional with a diverse background in various animal care roles. Currently serving as an Ambassador Animal Care Specialist at The Buffalo Zoo since July 2023, Linsey has previously worked as a Dog Bather at Larry’s Laundromutt, where over 150 dogs and 12 cats were bathed, and excellent customer service was provided to more than 200 clients. Earlier experience includes internships at Ohio Bird Sanctuary and Ohio Wildlife Center, focusing on avian care and conservation education, as well as a stablehand position at Blackburn Farms, caring for horses. Linsey's internships at Pittsburgh Zoo & PPG Aquarium and Otterbein University further enhanced skills in animal husbandry, training, and research. Linsey holds dual Bachelor's degrees in Zoo and Conservation Science and Biology from Otterbein University.
