Rachana Makwana

Rachana Makwana has a diverse work experience in the field of cyber security and technology. Rachana is currently working as a Cyber Threat Analyst at Vade since February 2023. Prior to this, they were a Member at ISACA starting from January 2023. Rachana has also worked as a Security Researcher at Bugcrowd since November 2022 and as a CTF Player at TryHackMe since October 2022. Rachana has actively participated in CTF challenges and has published write-ups on their Medium blog and personal blog. In 2022, they also worked as an Advisor II, Content Moderator at Concentrix where they resolved technical issues, collaborated with engineering teams, and reported bugs. Before that, Rachana worked as a Cyber Security Specialist at GR Marketing Group where they configured and maintained identity and access management using Microsoft Azure Active Directory and migrated emails and data files. In the past, they also worked as a Security Consultant for a period of one year and as a Software Developer Internship at KS Technologies.

Rachana Makwana pursued a Master of Science (MS) degree in Cybersecurity from the New York Institute of Technology - Vancouver from 2019 to 2020. Prior to that, they completed a Bachelor's degree in Computer Engineering from Gujarat Technological University (GTU) between 2014 and 2018. Additionally, Rachana has obtained several certifications, including the AWS Certified Cloud Practitioner from Amazon Web Services (AWS) in July 2022. Rachana has also completed the Cybersecurity Virtual Experience Program from Mastercard, as well as certifications in Linux: Bash Shell and Scripts from LinkedIn, and Splunk 7.x Fundamentals Part 1 from Splunk. The exact months and years of obtaining the latter certifications are not specified.
