Carlos Franco

Director for Portugal at BUILD ACADEMY

Carlos Franco has a diverse work experience in the field of architecture. Carlos began their career with internships and freelance work at Marc Koehler architects and Archilab. Carlos then worked as a teacher at Escola Profissional Agostinho Roseta for a brief period. Carlos also founded their own project called Oficina22, where they combined new technologies with home comfort. Carlos later joined Build Academy as the Director for Portugal and also served as a Teaching Assistant. Currently, Carlos is working as the Chief Architect at Shalu Investments. Throughout their career, Carlos has gained valuable experience and expertise in various architectural roles.

Carlos Franco completed their education in architecture at the Universidade Lusíada do Porto. Carlos first pursued a graduate degree from 2001 to 2007, during which they obtained extensive knowledge in the field. Building upon this foundation, Carlos went on to pursue a master's degree from 2008 to 2011, further specializing in architecture at the same institution.
