Crystal M. Adair

Crystal M. Adair is currently the Program Director at BUILD. Crystal has previously worked as an Academic Success Coordinator at Oakland Military Institute and a Level 12/14 Teacher and Curriculum & Instruction Chairperson at Fred Finch Youth Center.

Crystal has extensive experience in managing afterschool academic support programs and designing parent workshops. Crystal is skilled in data analysis and creating individualized success plans for students. Crystal has forged strong partnerships with universities, colleges, and other organizations to provide additional support for students.

Under their leadership, the number of enrollees in the program at Oakland Military Institute decreased by one-third within the first quarter. At Fred Finch Youth Center, they successfully implemented a new curriculum and instruction program.

Crystal M. Adair holds a degree in Mass Media Arts from Clark Atlanta University. Crystal is certified in Restorative Justice from Restorative Practices International, Teaching As Leadership from Teach For America, Time to Teach from the Center for Teacher Effectiveness, Charlotte Danielson's Framework for Teaching from Oakland Military Institute, Life Space Crisis Intervention from Fred Finch Youth Center, Edison Schools High School Literature from Friendship Edison Collegiate Academy, Project Read Report Form Curriculum from Friendship Edison Collegiate Academy, Step Up To Writing Program from Friendship Edison Collegiate Academy, and Writer's Workshop from Friendship Edison Collegiate Academy.
