Jordi Ventayol Marimon

Jordi Ventayol Marimon has been working in the field of cyber security and software engineering since 2013. Jordi began their career with Abadyn Dynamics S.L. as a Developer and Consultant in 2013. In 2014, they moved to Fundació Cecot Innovació as an Analista Programador. In 2016, they joined Applus+ Laboratories as a Technical Domain Manager of Mobile and Software Apps & IT Security Engineer, where they were responsible for validating security of mobile devices and mobile banking applications, as well as Android and iOS Penetration Testing, Vulnerability Analysis and Threat Modeling. In 2022, they began a role as a Cyber Security Software Engineer at Build38, as well as an Associate Profesor of Cryptography and Security at UAB.

Jordi Ventayol Marimon completed a Licenciatura Superior in Ingeniería Informática from the Universitat Autònoma de Barcelona from 2007 to 2013. In 2015, they obtained a Máster en Seguridad de las Tecnologías de la Información y de las Comunicaciones from the Universitat Oberta de Catalunya.
