Clarissa Gomez has been in the workforce since 2017. Clarissa began as a Group Leader at Madison School & Community Recreation. In 2018, they became a Staff at SAFEwalk. In 2019, they were an Administrative Assistant at the Department of Transportation and Facilities Planning, where they managed the fulfillment of parking permits and performed a variety of administrative duties. Additionally, they were a Lab Assistant at The Marin-Spiotta Biogeography and Biogeochemistry Lab. In 2020, they became a Research Assistant at the University of Wisconsin-Madison Sociology Department and a Researcher at the University of Wisconsin-Madison, researching how the environment, both natural and built, has been causing implications in rural, Latinx communities' sense of space and place. Currently, they are a Research Associate at BuildCentral, Inc.
