Axel Korthaus

Axel Korthaus is currently the Academic Director of Research Training and an Associate Professor in Information Systems at Swinburne University of Technology, a position held since January 2017. Previously, Axel served as the Research Director and Deputy Chair in the Department of Business Technology and Entrepreneurship at Swinburne. Prior experience includes roles as Discipline Leader and Senior Lecturer in Information Systems at Victoria University from November 2010 to January 2017, and as a Postdoc Research Fellow at Queensland University of Technology and SAP Research. Axel holds a Doctorate in Information Systems from the University of Mannheim, where there was also experience as a Postdoc Research Fellow and Senior Lecturer. Axel's educational background includes an Abitur in English and Mathematics from Aggertalgymnasium Engelskirchen.
