Misko Hevery

Misko Hevery has a strong background in software engineering and computer science. Misko began their career as a Software Engineer at Silicon X in 2000 before moving to Sun Microsystems as a Senior Computer Scientist in 2000. In 2003, they joined both SigmaQuest, Inc. as a Senior Software Engineer and Adobe Systems as a Senior Computer Scientist. At Adobe Systems, they focused on the runtime interoperability of JavaScript, JVM, and CLR. Misko then joined Google in 2005 and held various roles, including Staff Software Engineer and Tech Lead. Misko was the creator and visionary behind the highly successful Angular web-frameworks and played a significant role in changing Google's culture to test-driven development. Misko currently serves as the Chief Technology Officer at Builder.io, starting in 2021.

Misko Hevery obtained their MS/BS degree in Computer Engineering from the Rochester Institute of Technology, where they studied from 1994 to 2000. Later, they pursued an MBA degree in Business from Santa Clara University during the years 2002 to 2004.
