Shyam Seshadri

Shyam Seshadri has a diverse work experience spanning different industries. Shyam is currently working as the Head of Product Development - International at Builder.io since 2022. Prior to this, they worked at Tata AIG General Insurance Company Limited from 2020 to 2022, where they served as the Head of Innovations Lab. In this role, they were responsible for building a digital innovation lab, leading a team of 25+ engineers and product managers, and developing technologies such as OCR, Computer Vision, and Video Streaming. Shyam also oversaw the development and launch of Tata AIG's consumer app, which received over 1L downloads and a 4.4-star review. Additionally, they introduced AI-assisted guidance for video pre-inspection for motor via the app.

Before joining Tata AIG, Shyam was the CEO and Co-Founder of ReStok Ordering Solutions from 2017 to 2019. Shyam successfully launched and scaled up their minimum viable product, automated operational processes, and hired employees across different departments.

Prior to that, they worked as a Senior SDE & Architect at Amazon from 2016 to 2017. Shyam was responsible for designing and developing solutions as well as providing technical expertise. From 2015 to 2016, they served as the Head of Engineering at Hopscotch.in, where they built and managed a team of over 40 professionals and oversaw various technology functions.

Shyam also has experience as the Founder and CEO of Fundoo Solutions Private Limited from 2012 to 2015. Shyam started their career at Google as a Senior Software Engineer from 2007 to 2011, where they worked on projects such as Google Feedback and was part of the AngularJS team.

In 2006, they gained experience as an SEO IT Summer Analyst at Credit Suisse.

Shyam Seshadri's education history includes a high school diploma from Atomic Energy Central School, with a focus on Physics, Chemistry, Math, and Computers, which they obtained from 1990 to 2003. Shyam then pursued their Bachelor of Science in Computer Science at The University of Texas at Dallas from 2003 to 2007. Later, they attended the Indian School of Business from 2011 to 2012, where they earned a PGP (Post Graduate Program) degree in Entrepreneurship and Marketing.
