Kieran Nolan

Kieran Nolan is the Founder and CEO of The Nolan Group, a strategy and transformation consulting firm.

Prior to this he was with ATT for 40 years. Kieran was a senior executive with ATT from 1995 with experience across 7 functional organizations including Consumer and Enterprise Sales, Marketing, Engineering, Operations, Corporate Strategy, and Human Resources.

His last position was Vice President – Human Resources supporting AT&T’s Mobility and Entertainment organization. Organizations supported included AT&T’s Content Acquisition, Strategy and Business Development, Information Technology, Consumer Marketing Broadband and Entertainment, Postpaid and Prepaid Wireless and Over-the-Top streaming. Kieran also had responsibility for AT&T’s Management Compensation for the 120,000 domestic and international managers in AT&T. In addition, he managed AT&T’s Policy organization responsible for all policies impacting AT&T’s employee base.

Past positions included Vice President Construction and Engineering with responsibility to build both the wireless and wireline infrastructure for ATT in the Western United States. Prior to that, he was Vice President and General Manager for the Los Angeles Market area, Vice President Marketing for AT&T’s 14 million Broadband customers, Vice President for AT&T’s initial entertainment platform – Uverse, Vice President for Corporate Strategy, and Vice President for wireless and wireline operations in the Western United States. In addition, he was Sales Vice President for SBC/Pacific Bell’s Health Care Market group and Shared Service Provider organizations. In this role he had national responsibility for all sales and service for healthcare accounts as well as Internet network providers. He was also the AT&T Executive liaison to DirecTV, Dish Network, early Facebook, Yahoo and AOL.

Kieran has been responsible for over $2.5 billion in annual capital expenditures, $500 million in annual expense, and $2.8 billion in annual revenue generation. He has managed organizations as large as 6500 people.

Kieran received his B.A. in Economics from UCLA in 1981 and his M.B.A. from Pepperdine University in 1989. He is a graduate of USC’s Management Development Program in Health Care. He has served on numerous not-for-profit Boards including Board of Director for St. Vincent’s Medical Center in Los Angeles, Board Member – Junior Achievement Los Angeles, Board Member – Los Angeles Boy Scouts, UCLA Dean’s Advisory Board, Board of Director for the National Health Foundation and Trustee for Woodbury University. Kieran has additional experience as a Director for a for-profit corporation, Akimbo Inc.
