Michael Kirby

Michael C. Kirby is the Managing Director of North America Asset Management for Invesco Real Estate and oversees all Asset Management activities in the US for Invesco’s real estate investment portfolio. He serves on Invesco’s North American Direct Real Estate Management Committee and has served as a member of Invesco Real Estate’s North American Executive Committee since 2003 and as a member of the Invesco Real Estate Equity Investment Committee since 1998. In addition, he is currently a member of the Investment Strategy Group and chairs the Credit Investments Investment Committee. Michael is also responsible for Invesco’s ESG program in the US and currently Chairs IRE’s Global ESG Committee.

Michael began his investment career in 1984 and joined Invesco Real Estate in 1993. Prior to joining Invesco, Michael held various positions in commercial real estate management.

Michael earned a Bachelor of Science degree in civil engineering from The University of Texas at Austin. He is a Certified Property Manager® (CPM) and has served on the Executive Council of the Dallas Chapter of the Institute of Real Estate Management (IREM).
