Brianna Lanoye

Brianna Lanoye is an experienced educator and director, currently serving as a Fellow at Building Excellent Schools since August 2018, where the focus is on training leaders for high-achieving urban charter schools. From June 2016, Brianna has directed the Spectrum Theatre Program, creating innovative theatrical exercises for students on the Autism Spectrum and producing plays to showcase their strengths. Prior experience includes teaching at Buffalo Public Schools from August 2015 to June 2018, leading to significant reading growth among students, and serving as a 2015 Corps Member with Teach For America, where Brianna was selected from a competitive pool to teach in under-resourced public schools. Additional experience includes directing a middle school musical at Starpoint Middle School. Brianna holds a Master of Education in Urban Education from Canisius College and a Bachelor of Fine Arts in Theatre from Niagara University.
