Taylor Gilfillan, MSDA has a diverse range of work experience in data analytics and education. They are currently serving as the Director of Data Analytics at BES, where they identify and prepare leaders to transform education in their communities. Prior to this, Taylor worked as the Director of Data Analytics, Accountability & Evaluation at the School Board of Alachua County, where they led a cross-functional team and focused on improving data-informed decision-making and addressing inequities in education. They also served as the Regional Lead, Data-Driven Instruction & Achievement at KIPP Texas Public Schools, where they built capacity for data-driven instruction practices and supported student achievement. Taylor has also worked as a Lead Data Analyst at BakerRipley, a Corps Member Advisor at Teach For America, and held various teaching and leadership roles at KIPP Texas Public Schools and Teach For America. Additionally, they gained research experience as a Summer Researcher at Washington and Lee University.
Taylor Gilfillan, MSDA, completed a Bachelor of Science degree in Physics at Washington and Lee University from 2009 to 2013. From 2019 to 2021, Taylor pursued a Master's degree in Data Analytics at the University of Houston-Downtown. Currently, they are attending Harvard University to obtain a Certificate in Strategic Data Project, Institute for Leadership in Analytics.
