Aisling Morgan is currently serving as a Policy Manager for Prudential and Financial Regulation at the Building Societies Association since August 2023. Prior to this role, Aisling held several positions at the Department for Business, Energy and Industrial Strategy (BEIS) from December 2017 to August 2023, including Senior Policy Adviser on Audit Market Reform and Deputy Bill Manager for the Economic Crime (Transparency and Enforcement) Act 2022. Additional roles at BEIS encompassed Senior Policy Advisor for the Space Landscape Review, Corporate Transparency, and the Corporate Insolvency & Governance Bill Team, as well as Policy Advisor for Company Law. Earlier experience includes a mini-pupillage at KCH Garden Square and an internship as an advisor at Liverpool Law Clinic. Aisling holds a Master’s Degree in International Criminal Justice and Armed Conflict from the University of Nottingham and a Bachelor’s Degree in Law from the University of Liverpool.
