Sarah Lipsit

Publication Editor-in-Chief/Graphic Designer at Building Transformations

Sarah Lipsit has a diverse work experience in the field of architecture and design. Sarah started their career as an Architectural Research and Design Assistant at ERA Architects Inc. in February 2015 and worked until September 2015. Sarah then joined LeuWebb as a Design Assistant in November 2015 and stayed until October 2016. From February 2016 to January 2017, they worked as an Architectural Designer at Weiss Architecture and Urbanism, where they handled various responsibilities like producing technical drawings, preparing presentation materials, and coordinating with engineers. In May 2017, they briefly worked as an Architectural Designer at IV, where they designed luxury retail spaces and managed a team of intermediate designers. In October 2018, they joined East Room as an Architectural Designer and worked until June 2020, focusing on architectural design projects. Currently, Sarah is working as a Sessional Professor at Ge, starting from January 2020. Additionally, they have also served as the Publication Editor-in-Chief/Graphic Designer at Canada BIM Council (CanBIM) since July 2016.

Sarah Lipsit began their education journey in 2009, attending Ryerson University. Sarah pursued a field of study in Arts and Contemporary Studies until 2012. Following this, from 2012 to 2016, Sarah continued their education at Ryerson University, focusing on Architectural Science as their field of study. During this period, they earned a Bachelor of Architectural Science - BArch.Sci degree. Sarah then proceeded to pursue a higher level of education, enrolling in Ryerson University once again from 2016 to 2018. Sarah specialized in Architecture during this time and obtained a Master of Architecture - MArch degree.
