Lenny Yang

Lenny Yang has been working in the translation and interpretation field since 2015. Lenny'sfirst role was as Chief Translation Officer at Y17 Inc, where they worked until 2015. From 2015 to 2017, they worked at BuildingLink as a Localization/Translation Manager and Chinese Translator. In 2017, they began working at Lionbridge as a Chinese Translator and Mandarin Interpreter. In 2018, they took on a role as Medical Interpreter at Go Transportation & Translation. In 2016, they worked at the Board of Elections - City of New York as a Chinese Interpreter. In 2020, they worked at RWS Group as a Chinese Translator. In 2021, they worked at International Rescue Committee as a Remote Interpreter, ilingo2.com as a Medical Interpreter, and Humu as a Chinese Translator. In 2022, they began working at Global Arena as a Medical Interpreter.

Lenny Yang holds a Master of Arts in Technical Communication and Localization from the University of Strasbourg, obtained in 2022. Prior to that, they obtained a Bachelor of Laws from East China University of Science and Technology in 2003. Lenny also holds a number of certifications, including a Technical Communicator (tekom) - Professional Level from tekom Deutschland (2021), an ATA Certification for Translation from English into Chinese from the American Translators Association (2017), a Certified Healthcare Interpreter - Mandarin/English from the Certification Commission for Healthcare Interpreters (CCHI) (2017), a Shanghai Intermediate Interpretation Certificate (2002), and a Hub-CMI from The National Board of Certification for Medical Interpreters (2020).
