Neil Ouellette

Neil Ouellette has a diverse work experience in software development and architecture. Neil is currently the Chief Software Architect at Buildings IOT since October 2020. Prior to that, they worked as a Senior Software Developer at the same company from November 2018 to October 2020.

Before joining Buildings IOT, Neil worked at IFS as an Agile Development Manager from September 2016 to November 2018, and as a Software Architect from March 2015 to September 2016.

Neil also gained experience at SolarWinds N-able as a Senior Software Developer from September 2012 to March 2015, and at Laughing Owl as a Software Architect from June 2009 to September 2012.

Prior to that, Neil worked at Mxi Technologies as a Senior Software Designer from August 2002 to June 2009.

Neil Ouellette holds a Bachelor of Science (BSc) degree in Computer Science from the University of Alberta. In addition to their degree, they also possess several certifications, including Certified Scrum Product Owner (obtained in January 2017), Certified Scrum Master (obtained in October 2014), and Sun Certified Java Programmer (obtained in August 2002).
