Mariangiola Fabbri

Mariangiola Fabbri is an experienced professional in the fields of research, energy efficiency, and policy development. Currently serving as the Head of Research and Strategic Innovation at the Buildings Performance Institute Europe (BPIE) since March 2016, Mariangiola leads a research team focusing on open-source analysis and advisory activities concerning buildings and the built environment for various stakeholders, including European Institutions and policymakers. Prior to this role, Mariangiola held positions at Dunsky Energy Consulting, UNICEF Québec, and WWF International, where significant contributions were made in energy policy, donor development, and fundraising strategies. Educational qualifications include multiple master's degrees from institutions such as the College of Europe and Università Ca' Foscari Venezia, alongside professional training in Organizational Leadership from IMD.
