Abdulla Sheikh has a diverse work experience across various industries. Abdulla is the Co-Founder & CEO of Buildnow, where they have developed a "Build Now Pay Later" solution for the construction sector. Previously, they worked as the General Manager of Al Kharj Union Foundry, overseeing the construction, financing, and marketability of the project. Abdulla also served as a Strategic Advisor for alqamees, revolutionizing the traditional apparels industry. Furthermore, Abdulla has held positions as President of the K.S.A Alumni Association at Imperial College London and as an Advisor for FOEZY and DIGGIPACKS, both e-commerce platforms. Abdulla has also worked as a Mediator at the Saudi Center for Commercial Arbitration and as a Business Development Manager at JAWDAT CONTRACTING COMPANY, where they played a crucial role in diversifying the company's business and overseeing various projects. Abdulla Sheikh has also founded and served as the CEO of Delta Desert Impact Academy. Additionally, they have worked as a Student Assistant at Climate-KIC, where they promoted the organization among Imperial College students and organized events.
Abdulla Sheikh holds a Bachelor of Engineering (BEng) degree in Civil Engineering from Cardiff University / Prifysgol Caerdydd, which they completed from 2010 to 2013. Prior to that, they completed their A levels in Mathematics, Chemistry, and Physics at Multinational School Riyadh from 2007 to 2010. Abdulla then pursued a Master of Science (MS) in Environmental Engineering at Imperial College London from 2013 to 2014. Additionally, they engaged in collaborative research focused on Waste Management at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology in 2014.
