Carolyn Roach

Carolyn Roach, M.Ed., is the Founder and CEO of Grit Rugby LLC, established in July 2023, focusing on elevating rugby players through in-person and virtual coaching services. Carolyn currently serves as the Program Director for buildOn in Bridgeport, CT, collaborating with national Program Directors to develop impactful programs. Previously, Carolyn held various roles within buildOn, ranging from Senior Engagement Manager to Student Engagement Specialist, where leadership and student involvement in service learning were emphasized. In addition to coaching at Aspetuck Valley Rugby Club, where the team won multiple championships in 2023, Carolyn has extensive experience in education and mentorship, having worked with organizations like AmeriCorps and the University of Massachusetts Amherst. Academically, Carolyn holds both a Master of Education in Athletic Administration and a Bachelor of Science in Movement and Sports Studies and Coaching from Springfield College.
