Matt Collis

Matt Collis, CPA, has over 20 years of experience in finance and accounting. Matt started their career at CSC as a Staff Accountant in 2002 and worked their way up to become an Audit Senior at CPA Associates. Matt then held roles such as Audit Senior at Gregory, Sharer & Stuart, Controller at Modea, and Controller at Kitchen Craft Cookware. Matt also worked at Grant Thornton LLP as an Audit Senior Associate before joining Transaction Data Systems. At TDS, they served as the Director of Financial Reporting and later as the Chief Financial Officer. Recently, Matt joined Buildout as the Chief Financial Officer in 2022. Throughout their career, Matt has been involved in various financial operations, acquisitions, integrations, debt refinances, and sale processes, showcasing their strong financial management skills.

Matt Collis, CPA, earned a BSBA in Economics from the University of Florida in 2000. Matt then pursued further education in Accounting at the University of South Florida from 2003 to 2005. In 2007, they obtained their Certified Public Accountant certification from the State of Florida.
