Francis Sullivan

Francis Sullivan is an accomplished professional with extensive experience in sustainability and governance. Currently serving as the Board Chair of ConnexSA and the Sustainable Biomass Program, and as an Adviser for Built by Nature and ResponsibleSteel™, Francis also holds the role of Deputy Chair at ResponsibleSteel™. Previous roles include Deputy Chair and Trustee Director of the HSBC Pension Scheme (UK) Ltd, as well as Senior Adviser for Sustainability and Deputy Head of Group Corporate Sustainability at HSBC. Francis began a career at the World Wide Fund for Nature, which spanned from 1988 to 2004. An academic background includes a Master of Science in Forestry and its Relation to Land Use from the University of Oxford.
