Rene Lopez

Rene Lopez, MS-HRM, PHR, SHRM-CP has over 17 years of progressive experience in human resources. Rene has held several leadership roles, including Chief Human Resources Officer at Bulk Express Transport, where they built the HR structure and oversaw compliance, benefits, talent acquisition, and talent management. Prior to this, Rene was an Executive Human Resources Consultant for various organizations.

Rene also served as the Vice President of Human Resources at Cano Health, where they developed and executed a comprehensive plan to support the organization's strategic objectives. They also acted as a strategic advisor to senior management on key organizational matters. Before that, Rene was the Chief Human Resources Officer at Quintairos, Prieto, Wood, & Boyer, P.A., where they oversaw HR operations and served as an internal consultant on organizational development and employee engagement.

Earlier in their career, Rene held positions such as Human Resources Manager at CREC, where they established an in-house HR department, and International Human Resources Manager at Bupa, where they improved recruitment processes and employee benefits programs.

Rene has a strong background in strategic planning, employee relations, and organizational development. They hold a Master's degree in HR Management and are certified as a Professional in HR (PHR) and a SHRM Certified Professional (SHRM-CP).

Rene Lopez holds a Bachelor's degree (BA) in Human Resources Management from Florida International University, which was obtained from 2002 to 2006. Following this, Rene pursued a Master's degree in Human Resources Management from the same university, completing it between 2006 and 2007. In terms of certifications, Rene obtained a Professional in Human Resources (PHR) certification from the HR Certification Institute - HRCI in June 2009. Additionally, Rene obtained a Strategic Human Resources certification from LinkedIn in 2016 and a SHRM Certified Professional (SHRM-CP) certification from SHRM in June 2018.
