Joel Starkey

Joel Starkey has a diverse work experience spanning over 18 years. In 2021, they began working as a Graphic Designer at Bulkreefsupply.com. From 2017-2021, they were an Art Instructor at MN-DOC. From 2014-2017, they were an Art Instructor at Madison School and Community Recreation. From 2012-2014, they were an Instructor at Juxtaposition Arts. From 2010-2012, they were a Self-Employed Graphic Designer. From 2008-2010, they were a Volunteer at The Soap Factory. From 2007-2008, they were an Instructor at Riverland Community College. From 2009-2010, they were a Gallery Coordinator/CLA and Adjunct Instructor at Inver Hills Community College. From 2003-2007, they were an Instructor of Record at Kansas State University.

Joel Starkey has a diverse education history. Joel received their Masters of Fine Arts from Kansas State University in 2006, specializing in Drawing. Joel then went on to receive an Associate's degree in Graphic Design from Minneapolis College in 2012. Prior to that, they earned a BFA in Fine Art from UW La Crosse in 2003. Joel also holds an Associate of Arts - AA in Graphic Design from Minneapolis College. In addition, Joel has obtained multiple certifications, including an Illustrator for Non-Illustrators certification from LinkedIn in May 2022, a Google UX Design Certificate from Coursera in April 2022, a Drawing Vector Graphics certification from LinkedIn in March 2022, and a Sketch Essential Training: The Basics certification from LinkedIn in November 2021.
