Paul Tyma

CTO-in-Residence at Bullpen Capital

Paul joined Bullpen in 2022 as CTO-in-residence helping portfolio companies scale their technology to match their growth. Prior to Bullpen, Paul spent 3 years as the Chief Technology Officer at LendingTree doubling the Technology teams' size in that time. His previous experience includes building and directing engineering teams at LinkedIn and Morgan Stanley, and working as a Google engineer focused on internal server development.

Paul received his Ph.D. in Computer Engineering from Syracuse University, concentrated on Java and .NET performance. Beyond his adept technological background, Dr. Tymahas been a prolific entrepreneur, having established five successful Technology start-ups: Preemptive Solutions (acquired by Idera), Home-Account.com (acquired by Bills.com), Pulse.io (acquired by Google), Refresh, Inc. (acquired by LinkedIn), and Manybrain, Inc. (which owns Mailinator.com).
