Artem Ivanov

Artem Ivanov has a diverse work experience spanning over several companies and roles. Artem began their career as a Freelance Software Developer in 1999 before joining SpyLOG as a Software Developer in 2000. Artem later worked as a Software Developer at MCMK Corp from 2001 to 2006 and then moved on to Betline CJSC, where they developed back-office systems for an online casino.

In 2007, Ivanov joined Badoo as a Software Developer and later transitioned to Gamesys N.V., where they managed a team of engineers and developed casino games and infrastructure. Artem then joined Svyaznoy as the Chief Technology Officer and later became the Chief Operations Officer, overseeing the integration of bank back-office and credit scoring systems.

From 2015 to 2018, Ivanov served as the Head of Business Intelligence at Bumble, where they established a new BI department structure and developed various solutions including in-house ETL, anti-spam, data warehouse, and anomaly detection systems. Artem then transitioned to the role of Director of Business Intelligence, responsible for managing an international and diverse department.

Currently, Ivanov holds the position of VP of Data Platform at Bumble, where they are involved in delivering a modern and world-class data platform solution. Their role includes working with Google Cloud Platform and Snowflake technologies.

Artem Ivanov completed their Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Systems and Networks from Moscow State Institute of Radio-engineering Electronics and Automation. Artem attended the institute from 2002 to 2005. Prior to that, from 1999 to 2002, they studied Radioelectronics and Laser Technology at Bauman Moscow State Technical University.
