Mark Rodman

Mark Rodman has a diverse work experience in the field of information security and technology. Mark is currently working as the Head of Operational Security at Bumble since October 2022. Prior to this, they served as the Information Security Principal Architect at Bumble from December 2020. Before joining Bumble, Mark worked at Döhle (IOM) Ltd as a Cyber Security Specialist from November 2019 to December 2020. Mark also held the position of Head of Information Security Operations at The Stars Group from December 2014 to March 2019, where they managed and executed proactive cyber threat detection and mitigation programs. Additionally, Mark has experience as an Information Security Engineer at Rational Group (PokerStars) from January 2012 to 2014, where they provided key deliverables in vulnerability assessment, penetration testing, and threat detection. Mark also held various other roles at Rational Group, including Head of IT Support, IT Support Manager, and Systems Engineer. Mark's earlier work experience includes roles as a Systems Engineer at XKO from 2003 to 2005, and at Royal Skandia from 2000 to 2003. Mark started their career as a Systems Administrator at CSE International Ltd from 1998 to 2000.

Mark Rodman obtained a Master's degree in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from the University of Hull, where they studied from 1993 to 1997. In addition to their formal education, Mark also holds certifications from Tenable Network Security, including "TCNA: Tenable Certified Nessus Auditor" which they obtained in October 2013, and "TCNA: Tenable Certified Nessus Auditor (TRG-NES-TCNA: 11150133)" which they obtained in November 2015.
