Neil Smith

Neil Smith is an experienced Offshore Installation Manager currently serving as OIM on the Armada Kraken FPSO for Bumi Armada since June 2021. With a substantial tenure at Premier Oil from March 2008 to June 2021, Neil held various roles including Offshore Installation Manager, Operations Superintendent, and Production Supervisor, focusing on production, maintenance, and marine operations. Neil's career began as a Marine Engineer at BP Shipping from 1998 to 2003, followed by a Production Supervisor position at Petrofac until 2008. Neil possesses a Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Highlands and Islands, completed between 2012 and 2013, and holds qualifications necessary for the OIM role, capable of standing in when required.
