Yingbin Ian He

Yingbin Ian He has over 30 years of extensive experiences in mining and investment industries.

Currently, Mr. He serves as Chairman of Vatukoula Gold Mines Limited, a gold mining company based in Fiji. He also serves as Lead Independent Director of China Gold International Resources Corp., a gold and base metals mining company headquartered in Vancouver, Canada, and Independent Director of SouthGobi Resources Ltd. with coal mining operations in Mongolia. Both companies are dual listed on the Hong Kong Stock Exchange and Toronto Stock Exchange. He was General Manager of Yichang Maple Leaf Chemicals Inc, a Sino-Canadian joint venture with two phosphate rock mines and a chemical fertilizer manufacturing facility in China during the period of 2003-2006 and 2011-2016. From 1995 to 2006, Mr. He served as President and Director of Spur Ventures Inc., a company listed on the TSX Venture Exchange with investment in phosphate mining and fertilizer production.

He received a Ph.D. degree in Mineral Process Engineering from The University of British Columbia in 1994 and a Master of Applied Science degree in Mineral Process Engineering from The University of British Columbia in 1989.

A Canadian citizen, he was born in China, on March 22, 1962.
