Dennis Bernads

Dennis Bernads has extensive experience in the field of antitrust law, currently serving as a Referent/Case Handler in the German and European Antitrust Law Unit at Bundeskartellamt since November 2018. Responsibilities include handling legislative projects related to Articles 101 and 102 TFEU, as well as issues surrounding unfair trading practices and sustainability agreements. Prior roles at Bundeskartellamt include work in the Digital Economy Unit, managing merger control cases in the software, IT, and telecommunications sectors, and focusing on consumer protection. Additionally, Dennis Bernads briefly contributed as an ECN Official at the European Commission in early 2023 and has interned in business development at Cannamedical® Pharma GmbH and within the 7th Decision Division at Bundeskartellamt. Academic qualifications include a Master of Science in Economics from the University of Cologne and a Bachelor of Science in Volkswirtschaft from the University of Bonn.
