Sebastian Wismer

Sebastian Wismer has a diverse work experience. Sebastian started their career as a Praktikant at Gothaer in 2007. Sebastian then worked as a Research Assistant at the University of Wuerzburg from 2009 to 2013. Since 2013, they have been employed at Bundeskartellamt, where they initially served as a Case Officer until 2019. Currently, they hold the position of Head of Unit at Bundeskartellamt.

Sebastian Wismer obtained their education from The Julius Maximilians University of Würzburg. From 2004 to 2009, they pursued a Diploma in Economathematics. Later on, they enrolled in a Ph.D. program in Economics at the same university, completing their doctorate degree from 2009 to 2013. Additionally, in 2011, Sebastian briefly attended Michigan State University to focus on Economics and Industrial Organization, although no degree was specified for this period.
