Fernando Bruno, MD, MPH, FASTMH, currently serves as a Program Officer at the National Institutes of Health since August 2021 and holds the position of Program Director for the Global Alliance for Chronic Diseases. With a significant academic role, Fernando acts as an Adjunct Associate Professor at Touro College of Osteopathic Medicine and an Adjunct Associate Professor of Public Health at New York Medical College. Fernando's extensive involvement with professional organizations includes active membership and leadership within the American Society of Tropical Medicine and Hygiene.
