Mert Senel

Mert Senel has had a diverse range of work experiences in the field of IT and DevOps. Mert has worked as a Principal DevOps Engineer at Bunnings, where they supported the software delivery and production operations of major customer-facing systems. Prior to that, they served as a Senior DevOps Engineer at the same company. Mert also worked as a Cloud DevOps Engineer at Nintex and QSR International, where their responsibilities included managing CI/CD pipelines and implementing and maintaining necessary QA and DevOps infrastructure. Before that, they were the Infrastructure & DevOps Lead at Stargate Group, where they coordinated infrastructure and technology stack to meet all stages of software development and production operations. Mert also worked as a Computer Network & Systems Engineer at the same company, responsible for maintaining and administering various systems. Additionally, Mert has gained experience in IT support and administration through their roles at Lazo Paper, Diagnom Medical Centre, and Grand Casino Club. Mert started their career as an IT Intern at Telenity.

Mert Senel completed their education with a Master of Science (M.S.) degree in Network Systems from Swinburne University of Technology in 2013-2014. Prior to that, they obtained a Bachelor of Science (B.S.) degree in Computer Engineering from Middle East Technical University from 2006 to 2012. In addition to their formal education, Mert Senel holds several certifications, including Microsoft Certified: DevOps Engineer Expert from Microsoft obtained in January 2021, AZ-400 Designing and Implementing Microsoft DevOps from NetCom Learning obtained in June 2020, and Microsoft Certified Azure Administrator Associate from Microsoft obtained in October 2019. Mert also acquired certifications such as Cisco Certified Network Associate (CCNA), Cisco Certified Network Associate Security (CCNA Security), and INFOSEC Professional Recognition from the National Security Agency (NSA) and Committee on National Security Systems (CNSS) in January 2013. Furthermore, Mert Senel holds a Cisco Certified Network Associate from AcademyTech obtained in November 2012, and a Microsoft Certified Information Technology Professional (MCITP) from AcademyTech obtained in November 2012.
