Nate Bessa

Nate Bessa has worked in a variety of roles since 2009. Nate started as a ResNet Computer Technician at Northeastern University in 2009, then worked as a Software Engineer at Brigham and Women's Hospital in 2012 and at the Broad Institute in 2013. From 2014 to 2017, they held various positions at Galen Healthcare Solutions, including Senior Technical Consultant, Technical Consultant, and Associate Technical Consultant. In 2017, they moved to Harvard Medical School as a Senior Software Engineer. In 2019, they became Co-Founder & VP of Engineering at Helpful. Currently, they are working as a Software Engineering Manager and Senior Software Engineer at Buoy Health.

Nate Bessa attended Northeastern University from 2009 to 2014, where they earned a BS in Computer Science and Business Administration.
