Benjamin Claman

Benjamin Claman is the founder and CEO of Buoyant Aero since May 2021. Benjamin previously worked at Wafer as a System Engineer from February 2017 to May 2021. At Wafer, they built IoT sensors and completed design reviews and demonstrations. Before that, they interned at Foxtrot Systems in January and February 2017. Benjamin was also a Co-Founder at Portside Devices from February 2016 to January 2017, where they developed simulations and designed rowing-specific smartphone accessories. Benjamin interned at Anchorage Sand & Gravel from June to August 2015, where they automated data entry and optimized production schedules. Benjamin served as the Head of Media at Flippant LLC from December 2014 to May 2015, working on web-based advertising materials. Benjamin was an Undergraduate Research Associate at Allanore Group, MIT from June 2014 to May 2015, focusing on high-temperature testing and manufacturing. Benjamin interned at RIM Architects from August 2012 to May 2013.

Benjamin Claman pursued their education in Mechanical Engineering at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology from 2013 to 2017, earning a Bachelor of Applied Science (BASc) degree.
